A dream proposal

The experience consists of a five-day safari that perfectly combines natural life in the wilderness of the National Park - with its wonderful beaches and fauna - and the sophisticated culinary proposals of chef Peter Evans.

Each day, guests fish their own dinner, accompanied by Evans, using different techniques depending on the species: local trout, emperor, mackerel or snapper. 500 species of fish, 600 of mollusks -some never seen in the western world- and 250 types of coral, to the delight of the spectator in the reef located only 100 meters from the coast. These are real lessons in nature and fishing in action at the Ningaloo Barrier Reef. This learning is combined with practical cooking classes, in which the techniques for cleaning the fish and different recipes are learned. The daily dinner is a real feast for the senses, guided by Peter Evans' endless and curious recipe book.

Las Ventanas al Paraíso, unique environment

The hotel was designed to be in harmony and be one with the local environment: it was built against the natural slope and follows the contour of the terrain. In addition, its exterior color scheme reflects the white of the sand and the waves of the sea.
With full respect for the desert-sea balance and ecology, Las Ventanas al Paraíso avoids non-native tropical vegetation by incorporating native plants whose natural needs and characteristics are adjusted to the local climate. Among these varieties are cactus, fleshy plants and other desert species: many are varieties with flowers that sprinkle the resort with many bright colors.

Laucala Island Resort

The island had been owned for three decades by Malcolm Forbes. Laucala seduced the American editor of Forbes magazine so much that in his will he asked to be buried there. And, in fact, his remains rest in this property that, in 2003, was acquired by the German businessman. Mateschitz's wish was for Laucala Island Resort to become the best in the world. To this end, in addition to renovating the hotel establishment, he wanted to add two unique attractions: on the one hand, a seven-meter submarine with which guests can examine the depths of the sea and, on the other, a magnificent 18-hole course that, with maximum respect for the environment, takes full advantage of the potential offered by Laucala, with its imposing mountains of volcanic formation and impressive views of the sea.

SUBMARINE IMMERSION
DeepFlight Super Falcon is a private submarine designed for two people to enjoy an experience similar to flying underwater with a 360-degree view of the incredible ocean world, allowing you to adapt the pace to the wishes of the pilot, from a slow cruise alongside marine animals to an exciting race through the reefs. According to reports, Mateschitz had to pay two million dollars for this formidable technological wonder.

GOLF
For the design of the course he hired the studio of David McLay Scots-Kidd, known for his work on formidable courses such as Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon, Guacalito de La Isla in Mukul (Nicaragua) or Castel Course in St. Andrews. McLay-Kidd found great environmental restrictions in this project that ended up providing their holes, a perfect integration into the environment, creating a field of a peculiar beauty. Instead of a zigzagging route, he designed a par 72 with an itinerary that advances through the jungle from the north coast to the south, to return later to its point of origin. This way he achieved the minimum impact on the coconut plantation area of the island.

Alfajiri, the jewel of Pemba Channel

It consists of three imposing villas that are very unique and different from each other: Cliff Villa -which, from its elevated position dominates the Indian Ocean-, Garden Villa -which has a large terrace with lush gardens and an infinity private pool overlooking the changing tides of the Indian Ocean- and Beach Villa -constructed, as its name suggests, just a few steps from the beach, with a high roof of makuti.

This luxury hotel project is the work of an Italian couple, Marica and Fabrizio, who are always present at the resort to ensure that guests are perfectly cared for by the entire staff. Their European heritage can be seen in the cuisine they offer, which has a strong Mediterranean influence but takes advantage of the ingredients provided by their location: impressive seafood, yellowfin tuna, sea bream, snapper and fresh vegetables come daily from local farms.
