The HALO24 radome offers a rotation speed of 60 rpm at a distance of up to two nautical miles, a first in the industry. Its high sweep frequency provides high-speed, short-range tracking and is especially useful for search, rescue and civil protection vessels. HALO24 is designed to process several ranges at once, enabling advanced, instant double-scale performance with high quality short, medium and long range detection capability of up to 48 nautical miles. In addition, the radar features Simrad's VelocityTrack doppler technology, which provides instant visual information on the movement of targets relative to the boat, using colour coding on approaching vessels for high visibility, while attenuating away targets. It also features the MARPA function, which helps to better understand the situation and reduces the risk of collision. |

With 24-inch pulse compression, HALO 24 offers different power levels that ensure high-speed radar coverage in any situation. In a matter of seconds, the radar will move from low-power standby mode to full functionality in port, offshore, weather or bird mode. Extraordinarily simple, the radar will optimize up to 18 different parameters for each predefined mode, thus ensuring the best possible visualization. |
